I’m going to bring up 5 interesting points in this video – the last one will probably get a lot of people upset. Just remember if you are throwing a punch at the TV or your phone -- you can’t actually reach me from where you are.
I’m also going to discuss the problems I’ve had with Harley’s and there’s a bonus tip at the end so watch all the way through.
Just the other day I rode into the main Harley Davidson dealership in our city here in Melbourne Australia.
There was an event on called the Harley Heaven Melbourne “Dogs & Hogs Event – (dogs as in hot dogs to eat) The dealer put on an event giving out free hot dogs and it was a chance to go for a ride and look at some great bikes. Some I would love – some I would hate – all of them with hefty price tags!
It was a beautiful day in the middle of winter fortunately the sun was out so a few people turned up – not as many as I would have expected on a sunny day but Melbourne winters can get cold. Rain and storms were forecast for later. I actually got soaked later in the day on the way home.
Hot dogs were a hit BUT none for me as I hardly ever eat that sort of thing BUT it’s the thought that counts
We rode back through St Kilda for some “healthy” snacks and along the beach road home
It was a great day out.

Now - I got home and there was an email waiting
“I love my Harley but NO WAY will I buy another. The price is ridiculous for stuff that hasn’t changed in years”
So it got me thinking? Do Harley dealers rip you off?
If I jump onto internet forums everyone is complaining – the dealer did this – I swear I didn’t touch it and the bike exploded blah blah…
I started thinking about what people complain about and why? Here is my opinion on the subject and I would love to know what you think? Let me know in the You Tube comments.
The first point covers Harley Davidson Dealers charge too much for bikes – bikes are too expensive - The Harley Davidson dealer is ripping you off. Have a look at the video it’s in two parts and you might even change your mind about dealer prices. There’s a bonus tip at the end so watch all the way through.
