Harley Davidson skulls tattoos & symbols – what does it all mean? That’s what we are going to cover today. Skulls, tattoos and other symbols are part of the Harley lifestyle but does anyone think about what they actually mean? Why do people have them - besides liking the look? What the meaning behind them.
In this video I’m also going to bring up some other issues about symbols in general and why you need to keep an open mind about them. Let me know in the You Tube comments what symbols or tattoos you have and what are your favourites?
I’m going for a ride with some guys from the Vicla and Low rider community – you never know who you meet on these fun rides – so hang around to the end of the video where I discuss the meaning of my symbol and we talk to a beautiful, tattooed model – completely covered in symbols - one of the most tattooed people I have ever met.
Symbols
Symbols are found everywhere in the Harley community in the form of tattoos, patches, stickers and some seriously good paint jobs. In my opinion symbols are very powerful - they are more important and carry more weight than people realise. They carry energy – and energy is what makes the world go around. Wars are fought over it. People eat, sleep and breath to get more of it. We store it in the form of money, gold and now bitcoin.
When you think – you think in pictures and symbols. You might already know this – anyone who practices proper mindfulness techniques will understand this well.
A lot of people don’t realise that each picture therefore carries energy in the form of meaning which can be much greater / or deeper than the obvious.
Each symbol that you use - like a helmet sticker, patch or tattoo carries energy that’s sometimes far greater than you expect. They can evoke emotion and memories at a primal or subconscious level.
Think about the swastika – the symbols of the Nazi ‘s – this was once a powerful positive symbol used in many ancient cultures. Hitler and his crew were heavily into the occult and it’s interesting to see that they chose this as a symbol for their movement. The negative energy carried by the swastika now makes it impossible to use publicly. Deliberate or not?
Here are common types of symbols that you often see in the Harley community -
1. Skulls
2. Harley Davidson Logo
3. Death Symbols
Check out the video where I discuss symbols in detail. Symbols are often worn as tattoos so I also delve into the world of tattoos and interview Gayle a beautiful tattoo model who is completely covered in symbols.
