Million Dollar Bogan Life Line Support Ride & Bonus Mental Health Tips
Join me on my Harley Davidson Street Glide Special as I ride in the Million Dollar Bogan Life Line support ride. This ride is about raising money for mental health. Riding from Geelong to Apollo Bay via Deans Marsh. A donation of $20 per bike to support Life Line Australia is required. Stay tuned till the end of this video as I have included two mental health tips that will help you in your life. Lifeline is a non-profit organization that provides free, 24-hour telephone crisis support service in Australia.
The ride itself started in Geelong Victoria which is about 2 hours from my place so I thought I would stay for the weekend. I jumped on my Harley Davidson Street Glide Special and rode down the day before to have a look at the Million Dollar Bogan“ meet and greet” at Geelong Harley Davidson.
Danny the Million Dollar Bogan, his friend Veronica and the rest of the crew, the Bob Head boys from the UK and David Parry who features regularly on his channel would be there too.
The following morning the ride started at a Geelong BP Truck stop and it was a huge turnout of Harley Davidson’s and other motorcycles. It’s estimated that over 1000 motorcycles turned up for this event.
The ride initially took us down the freeway and then we turned off toward Dean’s Marsh and the coastal town of Lorne on the Great Ocean Road. There were some beautiful winding roads and spectacular scenery. At Lorne I had a chat to Danny the Million Dollar Bogan about Mental health and suicide which revealed some interesting statistics.
From Lorne we travelled the Great Ocean Road all the way to the town of Apollo Bay. This road covers some of the world’s best scenery. Lunch at Apollo bay featured some other well known Australian Moto Vloggers with some jokes and good natured ribbing thrown in.
The ride video is splashed with my commentary on mental health and I give 2 great mental health tips based on 20 plus years of helping others on this topic.
Join me for this ride and make sure you like and comment on the video.
